De Klepperklumpkes van 't walfort are a folkloristic dance group based in Aalten. The group was founded on 10 May 1954 with a view to preserving our regional folklore for future generations. The menbers of the group perform in traditional Guelders (Achterhoek) costume, as worn around 1900.
The dance repertoire consist of about 35 old, mainly Achterhoek and Twente dances, also dating from that period. The best-known dances are the Driekesman, Pot met Bonen and The Hôksenbarger, danced on naturel wooden clogs.
Every year the group gives may performances in the Netherlands, but also far beyond the Dutch borders. Thus they are very welcome quests to festivals in Belgium, Denmark, England, France, Austria, Slowakia, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland.

Aalten lies hidden in the verdure of the Guelders achterhoek, in the east of the country. Some 800 businesses, about half of which are industries, have their seat in the municipality of Aalten. There is an active club live with many bands, choirs and sports clubs.
The village of Aalten has a population of more than 12.500. The entire municipality has about 28.000 inhabitants. The district also comprises the rural townlet of Bredevoort, well-known for its annual gondola event on the town moat. In addition, Bredevoort is know as a booktown, because of its many bookshops in the old town centre, as well as the freguent bookmarkets organised every year. Since 1 January 2005 Dinxperlo have also belonged to the municipality at Aalten, because on that date the municipal division became effective.
